Welcome to Tricks of the Trade! Every Tuesday I post about different “Tricks of the Trade” that help make life as a mom, wife and/or housewife a little bit easier.

Today I’m going to share a quick and easy tip. It has to do with email…the dreaded inbox full of advertizment, newletters and other “wanted junk”!

So, how many email address’ do you have? I have SO many I have a hard time listing them all…but if I stop and think about it I have at 6! Wow! I don’t think I’ve counted them all before but these 6 email address’ are checked almost daily – if not left open all day!

So why do I have so many, well here’s the breakdown:
1 personal gmail account,
1 “mommytrade” gmail account,
1 email for communicating at my husbands work (I help plan their events so it helps to have an email address with them),
1 account at church (I do volunteer work for them),
1 hotmail account (for instant messaging) and
1 Yahoo account…and my yahoo account is what this post is all about! This account is completely set aside for when I sign up for stuff online!

The Yahoo account USED to be main, personal account but as began signing up with different companies for their newletters and deal alerts I started loosing track of my personal emails! It didn’t take long for me to create a new gmail account for my personal emails and designate theĀ  yahoo for all the “wanted junk”. (Wanted junk mail would when you sign up for the Betty Crocker Newletter or the Luvs newsletter that send you great information and often coupons!)

So if your inbox if getting full of “junk” then maybe you should think about setting up a seperate email address simply for when you sign up for things online! Why not, it’s free!

How about you? How do you manage all the” wanted” junk mail in your inbox?
