Cheap Whole Chicken at Ralphs!

If you didn’t browse through the Ralph’s grocery deals that I posted yesterday i wanted to be sure and highlight the sale on Chicken they are having: You can buy a WHOLE chicken for $0.59lb! That makes them some where between $2.50 – $3.50 depending on the size of your chicken.

And since it’s such a great deal I thought I’d share some recipes and instructions on how to cute a whole chicken! (A very useful and frugal skill to have!)

And here are some great “whole chicken” recipes you might want:

• CrockPot Whole Chicken (this is a good recipe to cook the chicken -without cutting it- and then use the meat for other recipes)
• Seasoned Whole Chicken CrockPot (This recipe is good to make the chicken to add to Mexican chicken dishes)
• One Chicken, Two Meals (This is a similar spice combo as above but she includes a recipe for Chicken Torilla Soup)
• Roasted Balsamic Chicken Recipe (Yummy! And great to prepare and freeze ahead of time)
