Ok, I have a free photo book in my Shutterfly account and I am going to do my best to FINALLY use it to make a book about my Joy-joy’s first year. I used to scrapbook – I LOVED it – until I had kids. Now I just don’t have time or space to spread myself out, so I’ve planned to make photobooks instead.
Every year we take family pictures and I have them all made into a photo book for us to keep but I just can’t get myself to do a book for my girls first year. Why you ask – because I want ALL of the pictures in the book! I can’t narrow it down! I know that “less is more” especially when it come to picture albums but man – I just can’t narrow it down to fit into a 20 page book! BUT this time I’m going to do it. I have my hard drive plugged into my computer and I am going to FORCE myself to make a book. It’s been too long and if I drag my feet even longer I’ll never get it done (my plan is to do one book for each year of their lives.)
I have 20 pages and if I don’t start with a plan then I won’t stay in my 20 pages and might just walk away. So my plan is 1 opening page (1 page used), 1 page for each month (13 total pages used), 4 pages for holidays -Christmas, 4th of July, Thanksgiving (18 pages used total ) and 2 pages for “firsts” (20 pages total).
I’ve started books in the past but I hope this time I can get it done!
Wish me luck!
