The Target I went to said they will not honor a price for another’s store door buster. They even showed me the fine print. Bummer!
Okay, I did some web research then I went to a different Target and they honored the price match. I got 3 toys to donate for $1.61—$60 value. It took some time, but I think it was worth it.
I would love to know where Stephanie did her price matching. I tried three different Targets and they said no. They also would not let me use a manufacturers coupon on top of price matching for some board games…what!?
same with me, they said they dont maych door buster prices only weekly or montly ads, not 2 day sales

Before I went to another Target, I looked on the target website and read their exclusions and printed it out. It didn’t say anything about doorbusters or I definitely wouldn’t have tried it. I hadn’t read the FAQ’s just the regular price match policy. The store I went to (Cerritos) didn’t give me any trouble. But I’m glad that my plan was to donate the toys either way….I would hate to get something that cheap when I wasn’t supposed to. I honestly thought it was fine.
I thought it was allows too – hence the post. I tried to do it too but now we all know for next time
