Menu Plan Monday 11/9

I would have to say that Menu Planning has become a must in my life! When I don’t have a plan I seem to wander and spin my wheels! As I mentioned some weeks back I’ve started doing a dinner exchange with some ladies at church and it’s been GREAT! I have learned that it takes a lot of work and time to prepare meals ahead of time but I LOVE having them in my freezer ready to go! I doesn’t mean I still don’t have some fresh ingredients to prepare but it makes my evenings so much more manageable! In fact, I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’m going to borrow a book from my sister called “Once a Month Cooking” and see if can find some more yummy recipes and try to have even more prepared ahead of time!
But, last month, since I had the meals already prepared I just kinda went off of what we wanted and when – the problem for me was that I’d forget what I had! I had a couple of meals left over because I forgot they were there! So I’m back to planning this month! So here it is – my menu plan for this week:
Monday: French Dip Sandwhiches (no recipe simple put a roast in the crockpot, rub with McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning, cook on low for 8 hours, put the meat onto dinner rolls and dip into the juice in the crockpot – SOOOO simple – SOOO yummy!)
Tuesday: Taco Bake
Wednesday: Open Face Taco’s (smaller portions and pre-made meal)
Thursday: Whole Baked Chicken in the Crock-pot (different then the one I normally make but I don’t have the recipe up to link yet)
Friday: Salad with left over chicken
Saturday: Out
Sunday: Pizza Night
