My Weekend Shopping!
Oh boy did I save some money this weekend! In fact I saved so much at Target that my Hubby told me that I HAD to post a picture and tell you what I got! I shopped at Target, Ralph’s and Albertsons but only have a picture of Target because the other two stores were late night shopping and I wanted to get to bed!
Target:
I took advantage of the Glade deal I posted about HERE, the Scrubbing Bubble Deal I linked to HERE and the Tag Jr. deal HERE (a part of the Toy Deals).
I also did the Scrubbing bubbles deal 3 times (once on Friday and twice on Saturday). I used the $2 peelies on the Scurbbing Bubbles and bought 3 Windex as a part of the deal too.
So in the picture you:
- 5 Scrubbing bubbles (there’s 9 in the picture but they aren’t a part of the total since I bought them the day before – but I paid about $4.50 and got back a $5 gift card for those)
- 3 Windex (used $1 coupon HERE)
- 1 Tag Jr.
- 10 glade scented oil candle’s (used coupons found in tins & other B1G1 coupons)
- 1 box Tylenol (used $1 coupon HERE)
- 2 dozen eggs
- 4 Arizona Ice Tea drinks (hubby’s addition to the cart)
Retail value was: $116.86
Total after coupons: $26.76 (pre tax)
Used $5 gift card from Scrubbing Bubble Deal on Friday
Total with tax – after gift card: $25.32
PLUS – I got $20 back in gift cards for the Scrubbing Bubbles and Glade!
So I spent $5.32 for $116 worth of product! That’s a 95% savings!
Albertsons:
I also did some shopping at Albertson’s to shop their General Mills Promo (to take advantage of the diaper deal). (sorry no picture) I bought size 3 diapers and it came out to be $0.10 a diaper! I did this deal 3 times buying canned veggies, some cereal, & soup. I did each deal separately and then used my $15 back immediately on my next purchase. I had a few other items to buy so I used the last $15 catalina on those items for a total of 4 transactions.
My grand total spent was: $59 exactly
My grand total saved was: $103.52!
Percent Saved: 64%
Ralph’s:
The last store I went to was Ralph’s to buy some of their “Mega Event Deal” (you can see all the Ralph’s deals HERE). Check out at this store was a little confusing because I always forget that I can only use one of the same coupons per transaction in order for it to be doubled. But after a little adjusting and doing two seperate transactions here is what I got:

Tyson Chicken Nuggets
2 bags of Salad
Peppermint Creamer

Pull Ups (these are $9.99, I used a $2 printable coupon and $2 ShortCuts coupon)
Twix
Butterfinger (Filler to get my total high enough to use my double points coupon)
My grand total spent was: $38.02
Total Amount Saved: $60.35
Percent Saved: 61%
I love going shopping and saving so much money! Don’t you??
