Saturday Spotlight: DYI Designer Shelves

The Holiday’s are just about here – Halloween has past and that means we are going into full blown entertaining season – maybe for you it’ll be “entertaining” because of your wacky family or maybe you’ll be the doing the actual entertaining in your home for holiday meals – I don’t know. But if you fall under the latter then you might already be thinking about changes or improvements you want to do to your home. I know that when I have a big party or event at my house I look at my my decor differently – I usually want to change this or that or update this a little here or there.

If you’re like me and want to make some changes then you might find THIS tutorial on Thrifty Decor Chick on how to make a some “Ballard” inspired shelves very helpful!

You will need some “handy man” skills for this project but I think the effort is well worth it!

I think they look great! And at 1/4 the price – you can’t beat it!
