Stater Brother’s Internet Printables

I’ve had several readers email or comment that their local Stater Brother’s stores won’t accept internet printable coupons. Because of this I called my local store to find out if they take them – which they do – and then I called Stater Brothers Customer service department to find out what their corporate policy is. I spoke with a very helpful and kind woman who told me that YES all store ARE SUPPOSE to take internet printed coupons with a few exceptions.

They WILL NOT take internet printed coupons:

with a value over $2
that are Buy one Get on Free
that are for Diapers
that are for Formula
that are for tobacco products

If the coupons you are trying to use aren’t included in one of those 5 categories then they are suppose to take them. I asked what to do if this happens and she told me to call back and inform them which store so that they can contact the local store directly. If you need to call their customer service you can reach them at 1-888-992-9977. You may want to take that number with you and try calling while you are the store next time you have a problem – maybe they’ll take the coupons while you are still there.

As I always suggest, if you do have a problem and you need to address it please do with patience and kindness. Getting upset and angry doesn’t help bring the situation to a faster resolution – in fact you may just end up with the opposite problem! The store or clerk you are dealing with might simply just be misinformed!

thanks so much for doing this for us! I have had it happen to me and was upset enough to want to call corporate, but ended up letting it pass. I really appreciate the work you do for us!
